By joining the New York Cider Association, you are part of the cultivation of the NY Cider industry.
Members of the New York Cider Association are cider producers, growers, trade professionals, and enthusiasts coming together to support work with state agencies, research organizations, market development resources and other alliances to advance NY cider’s contribution and strengthen our community’s role as an engine for agriculture, manufacturing, and tourism across New York State.

that is part of New York's burgeoning food and craft beverage culture.


Cidery Member

Any individual, entity, or partnership which owns a business licensed to produce fermented cider in New York State and is in good standing and full conformity with all federal, state and local codes and regulations.

Benefits include:

  • Advocacy at the state and federal level to support NY Cider industry growth

  • Ongoing and engaged support for NY Cider industry market development

  • Listed on "NY Cider Finder" interactive itinerary map (launching May 1, 2022)

  • Invitation to participate in Cider Week New York and NYCA organized events as scheduled

  • License to use the NY Cider Mark on labeling pursuant to the New York Cider Collective Mark Guidelines for Usage found by clicking here

  • Access to NYCA Board of Directors and Executive Director for guidance and support

  • Connectivity and networking opportunity with all NYCA members

  • Inclusion in collective marketing materials including NYCA website with links to business as provided

  • Access to Annual Member Meetings, Member Meetups, Member Educational Webinars, Town Halls, etc. as scheduled

  • Use of NYCA logo on all promotional materials

  • Regular communications from NYCA including industry data, educational resources, and grant opportunities

  • NYCA voting privileges and Board of Directors eligibility as elected

Grower Member

Any individual, entity or partnership which produces apples in New York State.

Benefits include:

  • Advocacy at the state and federal level to support NY Cider industry growth

  • Ongoing and engaged support for NY Cider industry market development

  • Invitation to participate in Cider Week New York and NYCA organized events as scheduled

  • Access to NYCA Board of Directors and Executive Director for guidance and support

  • Connectivity and networking opportunity with all NYCA members

  • Inclusion in collective marketing materials including NYCA website with links to business as provided

  • Access to Annual Member Meetings, Member Meetups, Member Educational Webinars, Town Halls, etc. as scheduled

  • Use of NYCA logo on all promotional materials

  • Regular communications from NYCA including industry data, educational resources, and grant opportunities

  • NYCA voting privileges and Board of Directors eligibility not included

Cidery-in-Planning or Associate Member

Any individual, entity or partnership which is in the start-up phase of becoming a Cidery or which offers products or services to the cider making industry, sells or distributes the products of the cider making industry, or is an out-of-state Cidery.

Benefits:

  • Advocacy at the state and federal level to support NY Cider industry growth

  • Ongoing and engaged support for NY Cider industry market development

  • Invitation to participate in Cider Week New York and NYCA organized events as scheduled

  • Access to NYCA Board of Directors and Executive Director for guidance and support

  • Connectivity and networking opportunity with all NYCA members

  • Inclusion in collective marketing materials including NYCA website with links to business as provided

  • Access to Annual Member Meetings, Member Meetups, Member Educational Webinars, Town Halls, etc. as scheduled

  • Use of NYCA logo on all promotional materials

  • Regular communications from NYCA including industry data, educational resources, and grant opportunities

  • NYCA voting privileges and Board of Directors eligibility not included

 

Enthusiast Member

Any individual 21 years of age or older may become an Enthusiast Member.

Benefits:

  • Advocacy at the state and federal level to support NY Cider industry growth

  • Ongoing and engaged support for NY Cider industry market development

  • Connectivity and networking opportunity with all NYCA members

  • Access to Annual Member Meetings, Member Meetups, Member Educational Webinars, Town Halls, etc. as scheduled

  • Regular communications from NYCA including industry data, educational resources, and grant opportunities

  • NYCA voting privileges and Board of Directors eligibility not included
